One hint: when the pasta is al dente you need to rince it with cold water, otherwise the paste will keep on "cooking" and will become mushy. Another hint: put in first the mushrooms so you bake them instead of cook them (make sure the water they give off is completely reduced), and then the shrimps. Otherwise the shrimps will be shewy. joSawant (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@12danny21-Ginger ale is a lot different from wine. Ginger ale is sweet lemon soda with a spicy ginger flavor in it, where as wine is acidic and the one i have use is on sweet at all. A Riesling will be more closer to ginger ale than wine. if your girlfriend is allergic then the best thing would be to just skip the wine all together and it will still turn out really good. joSawant (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
-thanks, do try making it. 12danny21 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
How does this taste with the substitute of ginger ale? because my girlfriend is allergic to alcohol, im not sure if cooking the wine will fix that problem so i rather just cook it with ginger ale. but how does it taste compared to wine? thanks nokturnalmortom666 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)

- Celery has a nice bite to it and gives a great flavor to the dish. Also it is a good way to add greens to your Italian dish. You can also use a different vegetable like leak but I personally like celery in this. Try it and am sure you will love it. KissinAndTellin (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
This looks AMAZING. How was the celery in it? I'm not a big celery fan but I'll be willing to leave it in if there's a good flavor because of it. Thanks for the recipe!
