http://JohnSifferman.com/blogT... is my favorite post workout shake recipe. I enjoy this post workout shake several times a week. I usually reserve this for after strength training sessions, but may have it after other exercise sessions or as a stand-alone snack between meals. Post Workout Shake Recipe:1/2 cup of milk or water as a base1/4 cup plain, nonfat yogurt1/4 cup cottage cheese1/2 serving of vanilla whey protein powder1 tbsp ground flax meal1/2 tsp cinnamon1/8 tsp nutmeg2 tbsp-1/4 cup rolled oats2 tbsp peanut butter1 banana1 cup of mixed berries1/2-1 cup of ice cubesNotes: Blend on high for 1 minute. Changing the fruit makes a completely different shake. Try kiwi, pineapple, apple, pear, or cantaloupe for a different post workout shake.Visit my blog for more videos like this one: http://JohnSifferman.com/blog http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...

Casein protein DECREASES rate of protein absorbtion? LOL no sir. Casein protein is only released into the bloodstream slower than whey, sorta like comparing Simple and Complex sugars.Btw, AWESOME vid dude, gotta try this!

You shouldn't include milk in your shake, it contains casein proteins which decrease the rate of protein absorption. Try and use just water instead.

Average protein powder is around 70% protien, high protien foods such as tuna are around 25% protein, do the math, also you shouldn't eat loads before your workout as you could get cramp or feel sick and you wouldn't be jogging with a creamy taste in your mouth as shakes are POST-workout not PRE-workout. Main reason of whey protien is not to replace the protien from good food but to be an extra source of protein.

ummm wow, first off dude you take it after you workout lol and second you have no idea how important this is. The right nutrition and at the right time is JUST as important as working out itself.

Wow, that is STACKED haha but i think its alittle to much for POST (right after) workout. To much going on.

I really don't see the point in protein shakes, surely you should just eat loads before your workout. Better than shoving down a glass of a cream-like substance down your throat. I'm no professional but I honestly can't jog with a clogged, creamy throat. It just seems unhealthy is all I'm saying. :)

that probably tastes delicious but its not as healthy as you think...check out the supplement called The Ultimate Meal it will seriously change the way you look at food.
