too starchy for stir fry.. better boil the coated meat with corn starch only whereby, you guys will get rid the excessive starch and fat oil from the meat itself.. then rinse it, put aside for stir fry later.. i have been doing experiments on stir frying without oil and it can be done by using water instead. It prevent the food from sticking and it does work. All this oil is very bad. try and stop eating fried food guguigugu (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
this is more sauteeing than stir-frying. the oil should start to smoke when you pour it in but modern glass-ceramic stoves are not powerful enough. this will taste good but will lack the feeling of 'wok hei' that is present in a true stir-fry (and also BBQ). kierbaudy (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
