Thank you soooo much for this amazing video! I have been a lover of bourbon chicken for quite some time. I moved to an area about a year ago and I can't find it anywhere!!! Needless to say I will been making this immediately!!!

For this recipe you can just leave out the thick soy sauce :)

just wondering is the thick soy sauce is an absolute MUST have for this recipe? i am nowhere near an oriental grocery store and cant find it in any of the stores near me...

Hi, The flame when cooking should be on high and it should reach about 350F. To know the chicken is cooked I usually feel for firmness with a spatula or chopstick. You can just take one piece out and cut it open to make sure there is no pink inside as well :)

Update, you must try the beef sticks they came out so wonderful. I used a pan like you make bacon in for this. Just mariniate overnight, I used a 2 lbs steak (was like one you use for stew I believe was really big but it came out so perfect and juicy. you probably can bake them also. I put water in the bottom of the pan and it allowed the juices to recirculate. ended up coming out wonderful. I have a friend who's parents want me to come down and make a dish for them. So excited. Thanks again !!!
