Chicken and Seafood Paella:Ingredients:200gm Aborio Rice (Italian Rice)800-900ml Chicken Stock2 Chopped Spring Onion (Green onion)1tsp turmeric powder (Replaces Saffron and gives a similar colour and drops budget) 1 Capsicum (red Pepper)2 tsp paprika1 chopped tomato1 large chicken breast1/2c flour1 squid tube200gm salmon meatOil (any)S+P to seasonLemon or lime to serve in wedgesInstructions in video.Makes 3-4 servings of PaellaNote: this is the saving money recipe not the traditional one, if u want a traditional paella use rabbit, saffron and a whole mix of different seafood eg. mussels, prawns, octopus etc.

authentic asian jasmine rice takes a long time to cook. it is a hard type of rice. in all rice by the way, you must simmer and cover it when the water is nearly gone or else it won't get cooked, like this video had done.

this is not how Filipinos or Spanish cook paella. Can rice be cooked that way? no. She/he didn't even simmer it... crunchy crunchy...

because the rice is raw, not fully cooked, it is more of a risotto.

I'm not even sure if the rice is cooked after she's done cooking. she didn't even cover and simmer it. that is not how rice is cooked. I'm sure it must be a little crunchy and raw.

ARGHHH This is NOT Paella. In Spain paella is made differently to create an authentic flavor. You violated the selection of ingredients, method of cooking and flavor principles. If you want to know how to make paella go to Learn to cook in spain DOT com and take a class.
