I do roll my meatballs in panko when making for hoagies and then drop into my homemade sauce to simmer about a hour. The panko gives a bit of texture to the sauce so it sticks to the balls and the bread. Btw love love love Dean.

Mary people who don't know this think it's silly too but when I add meat to my sauce it's Gravy. If there is no meat I call it sauce. LOL!!Thanks for watching and thanks for your feedback.Sugar

Sugar, we always called it gravy but I would so embarassed to say this to people outside the family because they looked at me like I had two heads. Now I'm proud of this and insist that it will always be GRAVY!
