@SheSellsSeaShellscom I use frozen bananas with this recipe, and if you let them thaw in a fine-mesh sieve over a bowl, they produce plenty of liquid to make this recipe.

Can you do this without a microwave? The problem for me is, that a microwave strips food of it's nutrients and the end product is toxic radiated ingredients.

Yum. =)

I accidentally discovered not only is this great for bread but poured the cooked bananas mixture with a dash of cinnamon over vanilla ice cream and my eyeballs rolled back in my head. WOW sooooo good.

It is the BEST isn't it, the texture is fabulous. NO more gummy nana bread.

Microwaves in a microwave oven, are tuned to excite water molecules at their resonant frequency of vibration by raising their kinetic energy. So any water in the banana is heated first, while every other type of molecule heats at a lower (attenuated) rate. For example, celluose (as in paper) when heated by itself, barely heats at all in a microwave oven. Moisten that same piece of paper and it heats quite rapidly..

Microwaves do not cook from the inside out.

That looks gorgeous; I'll have to try this recipe! Thanks for sharing!
