They brew mostly traditional German-style lagers and a few ales while following the tenets of Reinheitsgebot - the old German purity law. Brewer Chris Alltmont stopped by the Better Beer Authority set to let us try some fresh Marzen and talk about the virtues of the Gordon Biersch way. So far, every Gordon Beirsch beer I've had has been very fresh and delicious. I think it's worth a visit to appreciate why all those old German recipes have lasted so long.

This brewer just got a job with Fathead's, near Cleveland. They make some "Gah Damn Good BEER!!" at Fathead's. You should check them out sometime.

I have been in contact with Angelo at Barley's. He was on our Columbus Winter Beerfest Episode. I would love to do an episode with the guys at Barley's some evening.

I got there a lot....they have a good tapping party the 2nd Thursday of the month. Love that place. Sweetwater Tavern is a good place too. They won GABF Gold in 2009 and 2010

Yup I agree the hef is great and the dark is my favorite but rock bottom I have yet to go there but I can't say much but I have friends who have gone there and say it's ok.
