You can make your own mayo, mayonaise should not have any milk in it, check out the video of gordon ramsey a fast mayo recipe.mayo gives it a subttle consistency and lot of flavor (mayo= eggyoke,mustard,salt and pepper and a lot of scentless oil, special procedure of mixing, very simple) hope this will help!

i agree and to all those watching this video... does anyone if there such thing called lactose free mayonnaise ? or that if mayo is even necessary to make a potato salad ?? Thanks for the help.
