I have also had it with caramelized onions and raisins. Actually, the truth is that Moroccan women are very particular and even prideful about their couscous. It is considered a "holy" food and making it on Friday, their day of worship, is extra special. For those of you who are not Moroccan and have never lived in Morocco, I want to encourage you to try this recipe and ignore all the argumentative comments from the Moroccan and North African women. Great! I was looking for this recipe! My grandmother was born and grew up in Tunisie, and cous cous was a frequent presence in our home. Finally I've found a recipe very similar to my grandmother's. Cheers!

Hey Aliah, but i usually ate couscous that had just yellow sauce. why is this red? traditionally , do you add tomato paste in this??? it hought it was yellow? or is it a variation?
