| Power BananaRama Post-Workout Protein Shake Recipe
This is what I drink after my workouts. It is absolutely delicious. I really look forward to drinking it. I am using interval training with resistance to strengthen not only my muscles but also to condition my cardiovascular system. In this style of exercise, short bursts of intense exercise are followed by short rests. This causes your body to burn fat for 24-72 hours AFTER your workout. So, your body becomes a fat burning machine. Pairing this type of training with clean eating you can transform your body in just 15 minutes a day 6 days a week. Who doesn't have 15 minutes a day to workout at home? Your body will not only become leaner it will become stronger and gain more muscle tone. These workouts are for men and women alike. So, go ahead, try it!This shake is perfect for after one of these intense workouts because it has carbs and protein. Also, you get 1 serving of fruit with this shake. The protein I use is as close to natural as you're gonna get. It only has one ingredient: whey protein isolate. There are no added chemicals or fillers. The shake does not even taste like a protein shake. It tastes like a sweet treat even with no added sugar (just honey)!

I eliminated soy too, since it's an estrogen mimic. I used to drink soy milk like crazy but now I drink almond or rice milk. Try the diet thing for longer. Your skin takes time to respond to it. Use some light topicals too. I use Klaron lotion 10%. I also use retin-a micro .04% about 3 times a week (M-W-F). I alternate between the two topicals. Also, try taking some good quality probiotics. dermlover1 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
When I decided to take BC again this time around I was weary because I knew I was sensitive to it. As I suspected, it broke me out badly again. I stopped taking it after 3 months and I just eliminated dairy and it cleared in a few months time. I am clear now. Obviously, my skin is not perfect. I get little bumps here and there but NOTHING like the acne I get while being on birth control or when I consume a lot of dairy. I tried eliminating gluten, but I was unable to stick to it 100%. dermlover1 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Thanks for your support. I had an experience like yours the first time I ever tried BC. I did not have acne before I started taking it and then a few days into taking it I broke out in cysts and they just never went away. To be honest, I went off of the BC in a little over a month after I started taking it and the acne persisted for almost a year. The only think that worked for me at that point was Accutane. ktcoolcat (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
I love your videos!! The change in my lifestyle has really helped my acne thanks to your videos!! Cutting out diary has really helped me, except I had a question, I saw a comment you made on another video on how birth control broke you out, that's the same with me. I was on many different ones than I just gave up due to the break outs. Except I have really bad hormonal acne that I cant seem to get rid of, any advice? Thanks for your time xooxo dermlover1 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
I am in northern Cali. I plan to get my master's in physician assisting. That is so great to hear that you are taking good care of yourself. That is very commendable. I love jumping rope. I think that and sprinting is my favorite form of cardio because it's not as long, drawn out, and frankly, BORING! :) I wish there was a PA school in San Fran. It is one of my favorite cities. You are so lucky to live there.
