| Porterhouse Steak Recipe by the BBQ Pit Boys
Looking for a real good eating Beef Steak for your next BBQ? Then, check out the infamous Porterhouse Steak. It's actually two steaks in one -a New York Strip and a Tenderloin, also known as a Fillet Mignon. Similar to the T-Bone Steak but with a difference, as explained by the BBQ Pit Boys. One of the BBQ Pit Boys demonstrates what to look for when purchasing a quality Porterhouse steak, what makes a Porterhouse different from a T-Bone, how to properly sear it, and then barbecue it over an open flame on the grill! You can print out this BBQ Pit Boys recipe at http://www.BBQPitBoys.com---

I cook for the pleasure of it is not my profession. Go elsewhere with your stupidity. No one here cares about your opinion. baffinjigger (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Salt does help create the crust, I'm aware, you can do the exact same thing without. I'm not here to argue with your childish ass. I guess there's many reasons why you're still a cook and not a chef. Go elsewhere for an arguement dude. overclockedamd123 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
You obviously dont know what you are talking about. I have been a cook for 15 years. Heat is just one element to creating a good sear/crust. So how about you put your foot back in your mouth. baffinjigger (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Ok, did you happen to read what I said? ALLLLLLLLLLLLL people should read the comments more carefully. Heat creates a crust when you cook, it's called searing. If you don't know what you're talking about then don't reply, thank you. overclockedamd123 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL good steak cooks apply ample salt to make the proper crust. SchokoKaempfer (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)

Meant to say the Weber looks like a great way to grill and smoke on the same unit. wicker762 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
I just spent 30 bones on two thick porterhouse steaks and came here to review my grilling procedure beforehand. I'm grilling the second grill on my new Weber grill (the same model you boys use). It likes like a great way to grill and smoke on the same unit so I decided to give it a try.I love you guys! Can I say that? LOL. Thanks for being such a great resource to grillers as well as a source of inspiration. BBQ Pit Boys rock out. paddy414 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
