Salt does help create the crust, I'm aware, you can do the exact same thing without. I'm not here to argue with your childish ass. I guess there's many reasons why you're still a cook and not a chef. Go elsewhere for an arguement dude.

You obviously dont know what you are talking about. I have been a cook for 15 years. Heat is just one element to creating a good sear/crust. So how about you put your foot back in your mouth.

I just spent 30 bones on two thick porterhouse steaks and came here to review my grilling procedure beforehand. I'm grilling the second grill on my new Weber grill (the same model you boys use). It likes like a great way to grill and smoke on the same unit so I decided to give it a try.I love you guys! Can I say that? LOL.
