I have not experimented with any other measurements, so I can't really tell you. However, this is a nice sized cake that will easily feed 10-12 people, if not more.

Hi Jason, I have been looking for a great banana cake recipe and I think yours matches what I am looking for. The only thing is that I would like to have a BIG banana cake and the size in the video seems to be small. However the amounts that you mention are the ones that I normally use and I believe they do not need to be doubled. Do you think that I should use more baking powder or add more eggs?.. Is baking soda obligatory or can I just leave it out without altering the flavour?.. Many Thanks
