Pt3Set a small sauce pan (preferably a double boiler type) on the stove and cook the sauce using a dial or hand held kitchen thermometer, to 185 F for 10 minutes while stirring. In the mean time, clean some new ball jars and lids according to normal canning instruction, sterilizing the lids and jars. Can off the cooked pepper puree, turning the jars upside down for 10 minutes and then right side up to sterilize the lids. buckeye5704 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Pt 2Total = 100 Grams, so this is a PERCENTAGE formula, you can now just multiply these amounts times any batch size so that you can make more of it than just 100 grams.Grind it all together in a blender until you get a consistent puree. buckeye5704 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Part 1On a 100 GRAM basis, using 5% white distilled vinegar, you probably want 1.5% of vinegar in the finished product. This means tha 1.5/5 x 100 = 30 grams of vinegar (about 30 mL).-25 Grams of Cayenne Peppers, cleaned and chopped and added to the blender-25 Grams of Water-30 mL (or grams) of White Distilled Vinegar-20 Grams of Salt buckeye5704 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
a CLASSIC!! Great easy recipe that I'm whipping up in a couple hours. Goggle "Franks Redhot copycat recipe" and make your own if you live in a part of the world (like I do) where you can't get it.Agree with 649dg about frying, but I have some smoked wings I'm going to Buffaloize today. I am Buffalonian and BAKED aint the way ....deep fry them is the only way...my kid works for a well known place ....cant say where but anyways you want it hotter less butter and add a little more heat to it... If you have balls .....add a ghost pepper to the mix and see if you can handle the heat..... VoreTechz1985 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)

this guy sounds so cool. MrSnipesquid (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
As a Buffalo native i can attest to this recipes authenticity. My only suggestion is a very small amount of ketchup. Ketchup and wings is big north of the border in Canada but i find a small amount makes them very nice. CouchBaggins (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
It's incredible. Do it.
