I realised pretty quickly that the no knead bread went 'off' quickly but I only need two slices per day so I sliced it and froze the rest and just took out two slices from the freezer for the next morning. It was no problem if I forgot I just put the slices into the toaster and defrosted them that way. I placed a piece of parchment between each slice before I froze them. I find these slices have the taste of crumpets. Loverly! lixagoth (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
