I would have loved to see, the different ways you eat it. Like a finishing plate either as a soup in a bowl or as a side dish on a plate with rice. That would have been nice.

Why do you put in the 3 g's later at 3:32. Ginger , garlic etc.Sorry Im in my 20s new to cooking and didn't grow up with my mom or in the kitchen. Young men just want our food when we're hungry LOL

Do green lentils taste the same?? and after soaking them for 1 Hr is it ok to transfer them to a pre heated pot with water but not a pressure cooker? And if so how long does it take in regular pot after the soak of coarse?? Thank you

Look for Fiesta Brand lentils they have that dark meaty quality to them.

I always love your recipies. I have learned so much from you. Since I am not from indian origin I don't know so much about indian cooking. My question is what is the reason that one does not cook the lentils together with all the ingirdients like onion, spices... ?
