yummie. we do it in bavaria cabbage -apples 1:1. and use some cloves, bit cinnamon and a bay leave. it allthogh needs a cup of red vine. at the end rub 1/2 potato with a grater in(that sucks the water). you might love it. guten appetit.

Thanks for the correction. . . I am lost in translation I guess! My mother was not allowed to learn German as a child because of the war. Unfortunate decisions parents make for their kids sometimes. I have traditional sauerkraut posted on my site. Thanks again for coming by!

Thats NOT Sauerkraut! Its called "Rotkraut" or "Rotkohl" in Germany
