Never thought about removing wish BEFORE cooking. Awesome idea. Also liked the way you tied the string. My bird came out great! TheKnightlyVirtues (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)

Great!! My wife is highly allergic to rosemary, others in my house do not like thyme, dark meat for them is off the table, and most only like it fried. So, basically, I am cooking this bird for one. No worries, I love chicken grilled, fried, roasted, baked or boiled. And removing the wishbone reduces the cooking time, by a good, oh, 30 to 45 seconds. drawmuhammed (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)

My first time roasting a chicken I placed it on a rack and baked it at like 350 b/c I wanted to make sure it cooked all the way. It was horrible! But now I know for next time. Cubanbee99 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
