Can you replace the ketchup with tomato paste? Does it make a difference?

I use Pacifico beer. It works well with Jalapeno's.

Will definitely try this recipe...I have never used butter in my BBQ before...do you think Goose or Duck fat would be a good substitute if I did not want to use butter?  Love the dance btw...makes me want to shake it!

I subbed with a 28oz can of tomato Puree'  the mix Has to simmer a bit longer but Wow what an improvement over the ketchup.

I use less salt...but this is a good wing sauce.

would using tomato Paste work or will that just be a disaster?
