I eat these every year when I got to Linda's Dutch Pancakes & Pizza in Aruba. They actually cook the pancakes with toppings of your choice right in the pancake. My favorite is ham, gouda and mushrooms.

Funny, very funny. As poffertjes are really small, smaller than the palm of your hand. They're made of the same butter, but are thicker then OUR dutch pancakes. Dutch pancakes are thin, big thingies and we love them. Read google or contact some dutch people before calling someone nob.

Sounds good, I'll have to try that. I prefer to roll in a couple of sausage links and smother them with real maple syrup.
