Hey! I made these today minus the ice sugar so I don't know if that would have given them the extra "oomf" to taste like KFC's or not, but they were great! Not identical by any stretch, but really, really good. Thanks! I've never cooked with Panko breadcrumbs before stumbling upon your recipe. They made my popcorn chicken super crunchy and yummy!
