Damn this was spicy! Delicious. Couldn't find any Thai Chili Peppers, so used fresh ones for my first time. I have some hanging in the sun for drying, to use next time.

Thanks for the insite. I have been planning to try water, just have not gotten around to it. Oil does make the meat silky smooth but I don't like to add that much oil to my food.

I have a general tso's recipe found here youtube (dot) com /watch?v=zd4W_nv7mGY It has the ingredients for the sauce that I use :)

I find that the taste is about the same, but the texture of the meat in the oil is a bit smoother. But I usually do the water simply b/c it's healthier too :)
